1. Introduction

DubFlow is a Chrome extension that provides real-time AI translation and natural voice dubbing for any audio or video playing in your browser (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, YouTube, Netflix, live streams, etc.).

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the service:

• Settings & Preferences: language choice, subtitle position, custom glossary, overlay size (stored locally on your device using chrome.storage).
• Google Account Email: only if you choose to sign in (for free trial activation, subscription management, and syncing settings across devices).
• Temporary Audio Stream: Audio from the current tab is captured briefly and sent to our private backend solely for real-time translation and dubbing. Audio is never saved or stored on our servers.

We do NOT collect: name, address, phone number, web browsing history, keystrokes, mouse movements, or any personally identifiable information beyond the optional Google email.

3. How We Use Your Information

All data is used only for the single purpose of providing real-time AI translation and dubbing. Nothing else.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or transfer your data to any third parties. Audio is processed only on our private backend and deleted immediately after processing.

5. Data Storage & Security

- User settings are stored locally on your device.
- Audio streams are processed in memory on our secure backend and deleted instantly.
- No analytics, tracking, or telemetry is used.

6. Your Rights

You can revoke Google login at any time, clear local settings, or uninstall the extension to delete all local data.

7. Children’s Privacy

DubFlow is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify users via the extension or website if changes are material.
